Fees, Payment Schedules and Policies
Tuition for WYSO membership is tiered by orchestra level.
Tuition represents less than 30% of the total cost to support a musician in the program!
- Youth Orchestra – $650
- Philharmonia Orchestra – $625
- Concert Orchestra – $550
- Sinfonietta – $525
- Opus One – $350
- Harp- $575
Tuition may be paid in full by Friday, June 10, 2016, or in two installments postmarked by Friday, June 10, 2016 and Saturday, September 10, 2016.
A $25 late fee will be charged for any payment postmarked after the due date. Payment arrangements different from the above plan must be approved by the WYSO office. If no payment or payment arrangements have been made by the first rehearsal, the WYSO member will not be permitted to attend the rehearsal.
WYSO accepts personal & cashier checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard and Discover credit cards. WYSO does not accept cash for tuition payment. A $35 fee will be charged for any returned checks.
If for any reason, a member is unable to continue in the program, the tuition refund schedule is as follows:
1. Dropout on or before Friday, September 9, 2016: Refund of total tuition paid minus a $50 processing fee.
2. Dropout on Saturday, September 10, 2016 through Saturday, November 8, 2014: $200 refunded.
3. Dropout after Sunday, November 6, 2016: No tuition refund.*
*Unpaid tuition will be invoiced according to the payment policy.
Scholarship applications will be accepted any time during the year in the case of a family emergency that affects the member’s financial situation.
