Erin Barnard

Opus One Conductor Erin Barnard is a music educator and violinist/violist who has been teaching private lessons and working with ensembles since 2002. She graduated from St. Olaf College with a bachelor’s degree in Music in 2006 and completed her master’s degree in Music Education at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017.

She has played with the St. Olaf Orchestra, the Chippewa Valley Symphony, the Madison Community Orchestra, Edgewood Chamber Orchestra, the Middleton Community Orchestra, Beaver Dam Area Orchestra, Madison Co-op String Orchestra, and Taliesin Chamber Players. She teaches at Savanna Oaks Middle School in Fitchburg and Monroe Street Center for the Arts in Madison.
