Dr. Noa Kageyama, a Juilliard-trained violinist-turned-psychologist, gives two workshops on “Psychological Skills of Top Performers”

The UW has invited Dr. Noa Kageyama to give two evening workshops on, “Psychological Skills of Top Performers”. Kageyama,  a Julliard-trained violinist-turned-psychologist, will use wisdom gleaned from sports psychology, among many other sources to talk about how to succeed in the music business. It’s not always about skills and talent–it’s about business savvy, stage presence and guts. His blog, “The Bulletproof Musician” is extremely popular throughout the United States. This is a great opportunity for any student or professional within the performing arts. It is sure to be quite informative and inspiring. Kageyama will be speaking October 9th and 10th from 7-9pm in Morphy Hall in the Mosse Humanities building.
